Chalet Lach Sant is a mountain hut, or ‘maso’ as it is called in the local dialect, recently renovated and immersed in a unique natural setting, 1050 metres above sea level. It is located 2.5 km from the centre of Fiera di Primiero and can be reached in about 10 minutes by car along a paved mountain road.
The chalet is immersed in the tranquillity and greenery of the Dolomites, making it an ideal starting point for numerous excursions: from the Tibetan bridge in Val Noana to Val Giasinozza, the meadows of San Giovanni, the cross on Monte Padella and many other trails through woods and unspoilt nature, which are also perfect for mountain bike enthusiasts.
Conveniently located just a few steps away are restaurants offering local cuisine. Only 900 metres from the property is the Le Vale farmhouse with restaurant, open all year round. Continuing along the same road, you can also reach the Caltena Refuge, open from Easter to Epiphany and throughout the summer season, which also offers restaurant service.
The property is 17 km from San Martino di Castrozza, a renowned resort located at the foot of the spectacular Pale di San Martino, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Dolomites. In summer, it offers numerous excursions, while in winter it offers over 60 km of ski slopes served by recently renovated lifts. During the winter season, a ski bus service connects Fiera di Primiero to San Martino di Castrozza, with a free pass available on request.
Both apartments have underfloor heating, which guests can adjust independently for maximum comfort. The Wi-Fi connection, offered free of charge via the Starlink system, guarantees fast and stable browsing at all times.
Self check-in is available from 3 p.m., with a refundable security deposit required, subject to verification of the condition of the accommodation at check-out, which must be completed by 10 a.m. on the day of departure.
The outdoor areas are monitored by cameras to ensure the safety of all guests. Parking is free and located outside the building.
The hot tub is shared exclusively with guests staying in the neighbouring apartment; use by relatives, friends or other visitors is not permitted.
Among the services not included, we would like to point out that there is no oven, dishwasher, washing machine or air conditioning, and no food, drinks or condiments are provided. Upon request, it is possible to book e-bike hire, which must be reserved by the day before.
Our establishment is reserved exclusively for adult guests.
Please note that pets are not allowed and it is not permitted to organise private parties or host additional guests overnight, either in the apartments or in the common areas.
During the winter months, snow chains or winter tyres are required to reach the chalet.
The flat is cleaned only at the time of check-out. For stays of one week, linen will also be changed halfway through your stay. Upon request, a cleaning service is also available during your stay.
During July, August, and September, and in winter, the event ‘Breakfast in the mountain hut’ may take place on Tuesday mornings on the ground floor of the hut. When booking, you can request to participate with other guests at a cost of €20 per person.
In addition, during July and August, on Thursday afternoons on the ground floor of the lodge, the ‘Merenda al maso’ (farm snack) event may be held for several weeks, which you can participate in at a cost of €15.00 per person.
